Also returning to the New Wolsey stage is Georgina White who featured as Bryony in Up On The Roof and Sister Georgina in Forever Young.
This year’s Dame will be played by Graham Kent who last visited the New Wolsey Theatre to appear in thriller And Then The Dark. His previous stage work has included Dusty (Charing Cross Theatre), Miss Saigon (Drury Lane), playing the lead role of The Engineer on several occasions, Aladdin (Shaw Theatre) and Tintin in Tibet (Barbican).
New to the New Wolsey Theatre rock’n’roll pantos this year are: Barnaby Southgate whose credits include The Commitments (Palace Theatre/ Jamie Lloyd) and various roles in Eastern Angles’ Parkway Dreams; Rob Falconer – Musical Director of the multi-award winning Mischief Theatre Company, who most recently won the 2015 Olivier Award for Best New Comedy for their show The Play That Goes Wrong, and Sandy Grigelis whose credits include Carnaby Street The Musical (UK Tour), Carnaby Street The Concert (UK Tour) and Loserville (Union Theatre).
This brand new pantomime has been written by the New Wolsey’s Artistic Director Peter Rowe who also directs, with musical direction from Ben Goddard. Alongside this news, the team is also excited to announce a new sponsor for the rock’n’roll pantos – Ipswich Building Society. The organisation has kindly agreed to sponsor the New Wolsey’s sell-out pantomimes for the next three years.
