Our Eat, Sleep, Move, Repeat project, funded by Suffolk County Council, was delivered by the Creative Communities team in partnership with Ipswich Job Centre.

The project was designed to support residents of West Ipswich by engaging them with a range of creative offers, aimed at building community and addressing their unmet needs, particularly around food and drink, movement, and sleep.

As part of this project, we offered a number of workshops series and community get togethers at Ipswich Job Centre. This included, but was not limited to, the following programmes:

Crafting Community

A creative workshop series which looked at building community in difficult times. You can see the incredible zine created by our participants, with the support of artist Gemma Garwood, by clicking the link below.

Sleep Workshops

Across six sessions, participants responded creatively to discussions around sleep and rest through spoken word and poetry. You can find the group’s recordings of their work, supported by artist Tassa DeParis, here.
